Social Media Coordinator
The Mavericks organization has become a big part of my family’s life. My son is currently a 12U goalie, and I’ve had the opportunity to be deeply involved with the program as both a 10U assistant coach last season and a 12U assistant coach this season. Being on the ice, working with players, and meeting parents has given me a firsthand understanding of what makes the Mavericks special.
If elected as Social Media coordinator, my goal would be to help elevate the visibility and identity of the Columbus Mavericks while creating content families are proud to share and interact with.
Some of my priorities would include:
Expanding awareness of the organization throughout the larger hockey community
Create exciting highlight videos and player focused content
Introducing player spotlights and storytelling features
Developing eye catching graphics and team content
Capturing memorable moments for players and families
Building a stronger social presence that reflects the energy and culture of Mavericks hockey
Most importantly, I want our players to feel recognized and proud to be part of this organization. Youth sports create memories that last a lifetime, and social media can help celebrate those moments in a meaningful way.
Professionally, I bring extensive experience in sports partnerships and content creation. In my career, I manage sports partnerships for a major Columbus based company, including a significant partnership with the Blue Jackets, while also managing the company's production team. I’ve worked with some of the biggest names in sports, produced content with the NFL, and manage partnerships with the PWHL, including initiatives focused on expanding opportunities for girls in hockey.
Beyond my professional role, content creation is something I’m genuinely passionate about. Across my personal social channels, I’ve built an audience of more than 500,000 followers and generated hundreds of millions of views through engaging storytelling and creative content.
I believe my combination of hockey involvement, professional sports marketing experience, production background, and passion for storytelling would allow me to be a strong social voice for the Columbus Mavericks.
