Meet the Candidate: Ryan Utt

Our family has been part of the EYHA family for the last 3 seasons with children at both the 2012 and 2016 birth years. I’ve helped coach for several years and took over the Select Coordinator position last year, having completed 2 iterations of select tryouts. In just one year, there was an expansion of adding a bantam select team and we completed tryouts with record numbers this year. In the last year, I’ve been fortunate to see how the program itself operates and I think my experiences mesh well with those in leadership roles. As far as specific duties for the Vice President role as it relates to Safesport, I have a background in investigations and I have experience working in the world of mandatory reporting. Although these situations are unlikely to occur, I've demonstrated the ability to handle them in my professional career without issue.
