Meet the Candidate: Kelli Ensman

If you’ve been around the rink, you’ve probably seen me cheering on my kids and their teams on the ice. As a mom to two EYHA goalies—one at the 14U AA level and a new one at the 10U Select level—I know firsthand the dedication, sacrifice, and, let’s be honest, the cost that goes into youth hockey. Over the past 2 years, I’ve stepped up to help drive our EYHA Mavericks fundraising efforts, including seeking out sponsorships, managing multiple Vertical Raise campaigns, online auctions, and building partnerships. My goal is simple: a hat trick of body-checking rising costs so the financial burden doesn't land on our parents' shoulders, securing community partnerships, and giving our Mavericks the best resources on and off the ice I know what it takes to protect the net, and now I want to help protect our families' wallets so we can focus on development, leadership, and fun!
