Meet the Candidate: Beth Telander
Uniform & Spirit Coordinator
My name is Beth Telander and I'm running for the Uniform Coordinator position on the EYHA Board. My son Tucker plays for the 2015 12U team and my son Tate plays for the 8U Select Blue team.
My family's involvement with EYHA began in 2021, and over the past several years I have become deeply invested in supporting the organization and its players. Currently I serve as a team manager, giving me firsthand experience with the needs of players, families, coaches, and volunteers across the organization.
My background in hockey and organized sports spans decades and includes leadership roles in youth hockey camps, adult sport leagues and collegiate club hockey programs. These experiences have strengthened my organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to successfully coordinate programs involving large groups of participants and stakeholders.
Professionally, I work in risk for a large financial services company, where I lead teams, manage complex initiatives, and make meaningful decisions in a fast-paced environment. My career has given me extensive experience in project management, communication, problem-solving, and delivering results while balancing multiple priorities.
I believe these experiences make me well-suited for the Uniform Coordinator role. I am highly organized, professional, dependable, and a strong communicator. I understand the importance of ensuring players and families have a positive experience, and I would be committed to making the uniform process efficient, accurate, and well-coordinated for everyone involved.
EYHA has been an important part of our family's hockey journey, and I would welcome the opportunity to give back to the organization in a larger capacity through this role.
